The UManresa Pedagogical Model, model that is institutionally aligned with the general framework of action that defines the UVic-UCC training model, places students at the centre of the learning process, which requires all the teaching staff to commit to the continuous improvement of their educational programmes.
Values
The UManresa Pedagogical Model recognises professionalism, humanism, commitment and scientific rigour as forming part of the institution's own values. When transferred to the University's students, these values should translate into respectful, adaptable, critical, responsible and self-aware graduates who possess integrity and empathy, as well as being capable of acting as agents of change and being skilled communicators, team workers and competent professionals. To achieve this, the University has internal tools focused on experiential, collaborative and reflective learning and boasts a range of resources from its surroundings such as expert teachers who contribute to linking theory and practice; in-company internships; or the presentation of real cases in the classroom.
